For This Generation

Those who understand The PLAN depicted by God’s Seven Annual Holydays are now commanded to announce The COMFORT of HOLYDAY 2 to His People in all nations.

Isa 40:1-5
1 “Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God. 2 “Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her iniquity has been removed, That she has received of the LORD’S hand Double for all her sins.” 3 A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. 4 “Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley; 5 Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

God’s desire to comfort His Church in times of tribulation was clearly part of the Apostle Paul’s commission during his travels in that first era of God’s Church.  Notice how Paul tried to comfort the Church in Thessalonica who were discouraged by persecutions and the deaths of some of the saints at that time.  Paul used the imminent return of Christ as the basis for them to be comforted, since Christ would soon return to punish the wicked, resurrect “those who are asleep”, and then all of the saints would be rise to meet Christ “in the air, and… always be with the Lord.  Therefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thes 4:13-18)

Although Paul was mistaken in the timing of Christ’s return, this comfort was still effective and valid for those saints, even though its actual intended audience was to be the end-time saints, who will definitely understand The PLAN, and that Christ’s return will be imminent for them by having just witnessed the extant fulfillment of HOLYDAYS 2 and 3, and that therefore HOLYDAY 4, the return of Christ on the Feast of Trumpets is NEXT – in their end-time generation (Mt 24:34)!

Now, remember the TYPE set in the Old Testament for what is about to happen now. When God heard the cries for help from His People in Egypt, He sent words of comfort to them through Moses that He indeed was aware of their sufferings and that He was about to deliver them.

Ex 3:6-9
6 He said also, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. 7 The LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because * of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings. 8 “So I have come down to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. 9 “Now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.

We know that this deliverance began with HOLYDAY 1 (Passover) and was completed on HOLYDAY 2 (Last Day of Unleavened Bread) when the Red Sea parted to provide the dry land needed for the people to escape the Egyptians, and then to suddenly return to drown the entire Egyptian army who was chasing them.

We, today, in this Laodicean last era of the church age, should be comforted by this TYPE which will be dramatically fulfilled in this end-time generation by another “dry land” DESERT MIRACLE to deliver His People, but this time from today’s “modern Egypt” version of oppression and slavery, which actually is much worse because it is so subtle that the people actually are unaware of their slavery, and think that they are free.

God sees this oppression too, the slavery of the mind that keeps us enslaved today at a much more profound insidious level than the physical slavery imposed by ancient Egypt.

The COMFORT of HOLYDAY 2 is hearing the GOOD NEWS that God will soon deliver His People in this generation today, physically and mentally, by miraculously transforming the American DESERT into an OASIS for them to gather to from every nation on earth!

This is the GOOD NEWS God wants proclaimed to all nations to COMFORT His people in this generation today!

2 Cor 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort
