The SUNDAYS

The SUNDAYS in God’s PLAN

SUNDAYS are CRITICALLY IMPORTANT in God’s PLAN.

But, is the word “SUNDAY” mentioned in Scriptures?

NO.

But the Scriptures do mention “the first day of the week” in John 20:1 and Mt 28:1, which the world knows as “Sunday”.   Most monthly calendars present Sunday as the first day of the week since the world is accustomed to observing a 7-day weekly cycle.

THE EIGHT SUNDAYS

1.  The Israelites inherited (ate of) the Promised Land on a Sunday Passover.  Since the Wave Sheaf was only allowed on a Sunday (Lev 23:10-11, 14), this Passover had to be on a Sunday, which then allowed them to thereafter eat of the produce of the land on that very day.

Lev 23:10-12, 14
10 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 ‘He shall wave the sheaf before the LORD for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 ‘Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect for a burnt offering to the LORD. 14 ‘Until this same day, until you have brought in the offering of your God, you shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new growth. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.

Joshua 5:10-12
10 While the sons of Israel camped at Gilgal they observed the Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the month on the desert plains of Jericho. 11 On the day [morning] after the Passover [meal], on that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain. 12 The manna ceased on the day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, so that the sons of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate some of the yield of the land of Canaan during that year.

2.  Pentecost, HOLYDAY 3,  is always on a Sunday, since it is always the 5oth day counting from the Sunday after the Sabbath (Saturday) during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Lev 23:15-21
15 ‘You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. 16 ‘You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to the LORD. 17 ‘You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two-tenths * of an ephah; they shall be of a fine flour, baked with leaven as first fruits to the LORD. 18 ‘Along with the bread you shall present seven one year old male lambs without defect, and a bull of the herd and two rams; they are to be a burnt offering to the LORD, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD. 19 ‘You shall also offer one male goat for a sin offering and two male lambs one year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings 20 ‘The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering with two lambs before the LORD; they are to be holy to the LORD for the priest. 21 ‘On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.

3.  The Christ rose from the dead just after the sunset that ended the weekly Sabbath and began a Sunday.

Jn 20:1
Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb.

Mt 28:1
Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave.

4.   The Christ ascended to the Father on Sunday to fulfill the Wave Sheaf TYPE in the Old Testament.

Jn 20:1, 17
1 Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. 17 Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ “

5.  The Church of the Christ began on the Sunday of Pentecost in 30 A.D.

Acts 2:1-4
1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.

6.  The Favorable Year of the Lord begins on the Sunday Pentecost that follows the fulfillment of HOLYDAY 2 which most likely will occur on the 49th day, a Sabbath.  The fall of Jericho is a TYPE for this Sabbath/Saturday miracle, when they the Israelites were given the city by a MIRACULOUS DELIVERANCE.  The 7 times circling the city on the Sabbath may be a clue that 7 x 7 = 49,  the 49th Day being the miraculous deliverance day.

Joshua 6:15-16
15 Then on the seventh day they rose early at the dawning of the day and marched around the city in the same manner seven times; only on that day they marched around the city seven times. 16 At the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, “Shout! For the LORD has given you the city.

7.  Christ’s Marriage to the Bride occurs on Pentecost Sunday, following the TYPE in Exodus 19 which was a marriage ceremony, where Christ married the Israelites.

Ex 19:10-11
10 The LORD also said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments; 11 and let them be ready for the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

Jer 31:31-32
31 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD.

Rev 19:7
7 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.”

Zech 2:10-11
10 “Sing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” declares the LORD. 11 “Many nations will join themselves to the LORD in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.

8.  In the beginning, creation began on a Sunday, the first day of the creation week.

Genesis 1:1-5
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light “; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

SUNDAYS are CRITICALLY IMPORTANT in God’s PLAN.

Now, focus on the NEXT THREE SUNDAYS in that PLAN:

1.  The SUNDAY that immediately follows the 49th day HOLYDAY 2 DESERT MIRACLE.  That Sunday begins the “FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD”, the year that God grants forgiveness and amnesty to all nations who wish to gather to the Desert Oasis as the spiritual Bride to marry God’s Son on Pentecost.

2.  The SUNDAY that immediately precedes the PENTECOST SUNDAY, at the end of the “FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD”. God expects all that hear the invitation to marry His Son to be camped at the Desert Oasis by that time in order to prepare physically and spiritually for this AWESOME HOLYDAY 3 MIRACLE – THE PENTECOST MARRIAGE OF CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH!

3.  The SUNDAY that occurs on the PENTECOST that fulfills HOLYDAY 3 – THE PENTECOST MARRIAGE OF CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH!

Let’s keep these NEXT THREE SUNDAYS in our thoughts and prayers that we may be on time and ready to marry the Son of God on HOLYDAY 3 – PENTECOST – and raise up the FIRSTFRUITS of the Spring Harvest of the Kingdom of God!

Mt 25:1-13
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 “Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3 “For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5 “Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. 6 “But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 “Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 “The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 “Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.
